We may from time to time modify our Privacy Statement and we will notify you via our homepage when we do so. At Marketlayer we respect your privacy and will not disclose any personal information or information about your business, to any organisation other than our own (Marketlayer Limited).

Marketlayer will only use your personal information to provide you with the information you have requested or have agreed to receive. About Marketlayer Ltd

Marketlayer Limited is a UK based Digital and Direct Database Marketing Company, Data Broker and Email Broadcaster. We provide various marketing services and data that may assist some of our customers in making various commercial decisions. Some of the information we broker may be classified as “personal data” under European Union (EU) law as it is information relating to an individual (e.g. a sole trader, a partnership, a company director, a beneficial owner, a trustee, a professional contact etc). This privacy notice provides the information we are required to give in relation to the processing of personal data under EU law.

Marketlayer processes data so that it can supply commercial information about organisations to other organisations. What information do we collect?

We may collect information from you when you enter details onto our website using our online forms. For customers we may use the data and any further information including financial information that we gather from you to complete various order forms and invoices, and to process payments as necessary to comply with contractual obligations between both parties. In addition for all establishments and companies we may contact you by email offering you goods and services or to provide you with information we believe is of interest to you. For all limited companies, Plc’s or other corporate entities, we would like to send you details of offers, our newsletter and information about our products and services. You can opt out of email marketing by simply clicking the unsubscribe link on the email.

Marketlayer does not collect any information in relation to any persons race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, health, sex life or sexual orientation, genetic or biometric data.

How is your data is stored

Your data is held on our secure servers in the UK which meet internationally recognised and certified security standards.

We will not store your personal data indefinitely. Once the purpose(s) for processing the personal data have been concluded, we will securely delete your personal data from our systems. We will regularly screen our data to ensure that it is deleted after the processing purpose/s have concluded.

We will usually retain a ‘suppression file’ to help us comply with data protection and marketing law. This will contain some minimal data to enable us to ensure we do not market to individuals listed where they have withdrawn their consent to being contacted or marketed to.

We do not transfer your data outside of the EEA and comply absolutely with the protection offered to you under the Data Protection Act 1998.

What we do with your data - and what we don't do
